We’ve developed partnerships with the International School of Kuala Lumpur and Sri Inai International School. The schools provide us with a safe, confidential space for their students to meet with our psychologists at the school.
There are number of advantages to this for the students and their families.
- Access to help for more complex problems: we bring new strategies to help students when other methods have failed.
- Convenience: our psychologists do the travelling rather than students and their families.
- Familiarity: many (but not all) students feel more comfortable and familiar with school compared with our centres.
- Working with teachers: we develop relationships with teachers, counsellors and other school staff which allow us to work together as a team to improve support for individual students (although we only share such information with the permission of the student and their family)
The fees for our sessions are covered by the students’ families which means you retain full control over the process. We won’t tell the school anything without your permission. The only exception is if we it’s necessary for us to prevent someone from getting seriously hurt. You can read more about our rules on confidentiality on our ethics page.
If you’re a student or parent of a student at a different school we’re sorry we can’t offer you the same convenience. In the meantime, you are most welcome to meet us at the Hub SS2, Colony KLCC or online via Zoom.
