About Marianne Ho

Marianne is clinical psychologist who started working at Share Resolve in July 2022.

She studied her masters in clinical psychology at HELP University and developed her clinical skills at the university counselling centre and the Malaysian Mental Health Association.

Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist she worked intensively with children with special educational needs due to issues such as ADHD and autism.

Marianne also has experience outside of clinical psychology having worked as an administrator in a large local organisation.

We invited Marianne to join Share Resolve because she genuinely wants to help other people and has a kind, non-judgemental approach towards others. She was also able to quickly take on the learning that she received during the intensive training she received when she started at Share Resolve.

She continues to learn rapidly and further improve her skills because she meets our clinical director, Dr Dan Seal, at least once a week. In these meetings discussion focuses on how to give the very best help to each of the people that she is meeting with (everything that she shares with Dr Dan is anonymised so as to maintain client confidentiality).

Marianne had already knew how to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and conduct neuropsychological assessments as they are the basis of her masters degree. At Share Resolve we expanded on her knowledge and taught her to help others using Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT).

We are confident in recommending Marianne as a highly competent clinician who can work effective with adults, adolescents and children. She meets clients in-person at our office at the Hub SS2 and online via Zoom.

Should you wish to meet Marianne you can contact Vivian on 012 5089910 to arrange a consultation.
