This programme is underpinned by a bio-psychosocial framework. This framework identifies biological, psychological and social factors that contribute to the development and maintenance of psychological difficulties and mental disorders, or conversely to wellness. The Programme takes cognitive-behavioural therapy as its main therapeutic modality, and also has particular strengths in family therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, neuro-psychology and clinical health psychology.
