606

Start Date: 20th April 2018

Once a month I go to the Dignity for Children Foundation in Sentul to supervise the clinical Psychologist & trainee counsellors that work there.

I started my collaboration with Dignity after I was invited to be a panel member for their case conference.

The Dignity for Children Foundation is a non-governmental organisation that provides holistic care and education for urban poor children in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dignity has been providing education and care to underprivileged children for the past 20 years. Starting with a class of just 20 students, they have educated more than 8,000 students, with 1,700 enrolled this year. Dignity is the largest and most comprehensive learning centre for the underprivileged in West Malaysia.

Dignity hosted the 44th President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama in 2015 and received the Sharjah International Award for Refugee Advocacy and Support in 2018.

I am a British Chartered Clinical Psychologist currently working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I aim to help people who are facing psychological or emotional difficulties to overcome their difficulties.
